Fall, Thanksgiving & Eating

   Posted by: Lightning    in Uncategorized

Well as I sit here anticipating the moment that I fall asleep or get up and go to bed. The month is rapidly passing by and the leaves are rapidly falling but I sure do have a lot to be thankful of. Jesus died on the cross just for me and then my name was written down in the Lambs Book Of Life, is yours? I am so thankful for my salvation, my family, my church, my friends, my health and of course the list goes on.

Well let me catch you up since the last time. Chief and I went on a visit at Carolina Behavioral Health last Monday and it sure was a great time, we meet some new friends and look forward to the next visit. Anthony, my brother-in-law felt like he needed some attention so last week he decided that he would have an emergency surgery to remove his appendix. God blessed him and he is doing well, still a little slow but OK. I got a call last week from Bum and he said you want to go shrimping, and of course I said yelp, so we loaded up and off to Edisto. We arrived at John and Carol’s and they welcomed us with open arms. We spent the night and got up the next morning to the smell of a good ole breakfast, now that is the way to start a day. We loaded up all the items, meet our new friend Barney and after about a 3 minute drive we put the boat in the water. We rode for about 30 minutes on the water and arrived at our trawling destination and after a great day on the water we returned back to clean up and brag about the catch of the day, which was 30 quarts of beheaded shrimp. So far Claire and I have grilled and fixed scampi out of one quart.

Abigail had her awards day yesterday at Woodmont High School and she sure did make her Daddy proud.

I hope you have a great week, God Bless You and Good Night,

Fall

   Posted by: Lightning    in Uncategorized

Well Fall has fell in Possum Kingdom. It has wound up South Greenville Sports Fall Softball and it was a fun season with a couple of great coaches and I am so proud of Abigail, she had some great hits this year with two home runs. Justin and his mighty Yellow Jackets have finished their season in Aiken County and finished 3rd in the county. I am so proud of what he has accomplished and what his team has accomplished.

We had our Fall festival at church on Monday and I did not know that many people could fit through the gates to get in Possum Kingdom, we had a great time. I ran the hay ride, a trailer behind my Gator and it stayed busy until we closed the ride for the Trunk or Treat. When they turned all those rug rats alose for the candy well I will say that I am glad I was behind my Gator.

Chief and I are looking forward to some future therapy visits as we will be on one Monday at Carolina Behavioral Health and they really enjoys us coming to visit with them.

Well I better get in the bed so I will be ready for Sunday School at 9:30 in the morning. I hope you enjoy your day of worship with God almighty. I look forward to the next time we meet.

God Bless You,

Pel
